I am Paula S. Jordan, a lifelong reader of science fiction and fantasy, a former orbit analyst for NASA and NOAA, and a long time writer in a variety of fields. Now, finally, I am writing from my science fiction roots.

I have published two short stories in the field so far. “Two Look at Two” (Analog, April 2011) is an adaptation of the first chapter of a novel now in progress. “The Gift of Unbinding” also appeared in Analog, in May 2001. And new stories are in the works.

Here on the site I will soon have some stories to share – science fiction, fantasy, and mainstream fiction – a smattering of poetry, and a selection of photos.

I blog about science fiction and fantasy  writing, reading, and all sorts of things that I like, both here in the Wordshop and on my favorite book blog Darkcargo.com.

And there is more to come! This website, like my career, is a work in progress.  I hope you enjoy it.
